SATLANTIS closes the audit for the year 2024 with a growth rate of 48%, reaching a €26.3 million. Its EBITDA has more than doubled, reaching €8,3 million, while its net profit has almost tripled, arriving at €5,3 million.
Furthermore, the cash availability of over €30 million and a backlog of over €40 million, enable the company to project a next growth of 82% in 2025, reaching €48 million, along with a further doubling of EBITDA up to €15 million.
The 2024 KPMG audit of SATLANTIS provides remarkable results of growth and profitability.
The direct dependency on public space programs is not large (17%) compared to the sector usual behaviour, and the international business accounts for 88% of total revenue.
“After 12 years of existence, since 2013, it was time to show to the market that our disruptive proposition is leading the Earth Observation market. We produce synthetic images, half way between optical and radar, that enable our satellites to multiply their observation power by more than 20 times”, says Juan Tomás Hernani, CEO of the company. “After 7 successful launches (100% success rate) we are engaged in the construction of 17 satellites with a number of European partners, all with submetric capabilities”, he adds.
The fusion of multiple sensors – visible, infrared (SWIR), cryogenics, and thermal imaging – provides an unparalleled capability offered by a single company. Furthermore, upcoming advancement announcements, including 50 cm resolution in visible imaging (the new Graphium series), and 3 m resolution for thermal images (the Hibiscus series from SuperSharp), position SATLANTIS in a unique stand point to face the challenges that the current geopolitical scenario is demanding from the space sector.
This current year presents a significant growth challenge, mainly focused on the industrial-scale delivery of standard products, demonstrating that the industrial revolution, long overdue in the Space sector, is now both possible and profitable.
